Nestled in the heart of Downtown Cedar City. Our wines are all made, blended and vinted locally, using grapes sourced from Washington, Oregon, California, and Utah.

We are located on bustling Center Street, among delectable local restaurants, the Tony Award-winning Utah Shakespeare Festival, and Southern Utah Museum of Art (SUMA). Just a short drive away, you’ll find breathtaking views in Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks, and the rugged slopes of Brian Head Ski Resort.

Tasting Room

Enjoy a White, Red, or Mix-and-Match flight of our varietals while relaxing in the ambiance of our tasting room, where you’ll find yourself surrounded by the warmth of the fireplace, soft music, repurposed wood, charming brick, and comfortable seating, or enjoy the fresh air and sunshine on our patio. Tours of our production area are available daily.

About Us

I/G Winery owner and winemaker, Doug McCombs, brought his passion for fine wines to Southern Utah way back in 2012 when He opened the Iron Gate Winery as his first winery project. All these years later, he remains just as passionate about what we do here by offering his signature blends and single varietals. All our wines are handcrafted to create rich, smooth, elegant wines that both the crisp white wine lover and hearty red wine connoisseur will enjoy.

McCombs sources grapes from the finest vineyards in California, Oregon, Washington and Utah; including regions like Napa, Sonoma, the Columbia and Rogue Valleys and the Greater Zion area vineyards.

I/G Winery is not only home to award-winning wines, we are also proud to offer the best cocktails found in Southern Utah. Crafted using premium liquors and the finest ingredients, enjoy one of these artisan cocktails in our beautiful tasting room. We also offer beer on tap from local breweries as well as local spirits.
