9 BARRELS RED BLEND

I/G Winery’s newest red blend is a collection of nine different barrels that were produced by our winemake from field 2 of what is affectionately known as the Twin Peaks Vineyard at Chanela Farms. It is a combination of wines include a bold collection of Merlot, Zinfandel, Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, and Pinot Noir. This produces a fruit forward wine with a crisp mid-palate that gives way to a stout oak finish. We hope that you will have as much fun drinking this wine as we did in putting it together!

The Utah label represents our line of handcrafted wines make from grapes grown at the Twin Peaks Vineyard. The vineyard is located 5000′ above sea level on the eastern slope of Pine Valley Mountain, about 12 miles northwest of St. George, Utah. The elevation of this vineyard makes for warm days and cool nights, that when paired with the soils of ancient granite, decomposed lava rock an Navajo sandstone, makes for an exceptional grape growing location. We treat our Utah grapes the same way we do our Napa grapes, using the best techniques and live oak barrels to age these wines. These wines are always handcrafted and I design the steps that each wine will take with an eye toward bringing out the best qualities of each varietal. All while trying to stay true to our original version for what a Utah wine can be.
